Jimmy Kluge is a wildlife technician for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR). He manages the Jim Timmerman Natural Resources Area at Jocassee Gorges, a 35,000-acre tract of land that borders Lake Jocassee, one of the clearest, deepest, and coldest waterbodies in the Carolinas. Some people might say Mr. Kluge works in the most beautiful place in the Southeast, but he doesn't let that go to his head.
