Career Spotlight _ Truman Nicholson

You know, most companies require an Associate Degree. It’s really mandatory if you want to get into this field and have a job with good benefits. I took Machine Tool courses in high school and graduated with a certificate in Machine Tool Technology. I then got my Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology from Tri-County Technical College.

Tri-County also offers a lot of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) courses. I’ve taken these as follow-up courses to my degree. You need to build on your skills. So pursuing continuing education courses is very helpful if you have the time and money. You always need to build on your skills and knowledge.
