Career Spotlight _ Jimmy Kluge

A lot of people think this is a dream job, but it's only a dream job if it's what you really want to do and you're willing to do a lot of logistics-preparing for events, maintaining equipment, and managing information. You've really got to look at all aspects of the job. People think you need to know all about deer, turkey, and ducks to do what I do.

That helps, but there's a lot more to my job than that. Any technical experience you put on your resume could help you get a job in this field; it's good to have welding, small engine repair, heavy equipment, construction, plumbing, and electrician experience. A knowledge of these fields can give you an edge over other applicants.
